I am a student at Texas Tech Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy in Abilene. I was born in Abilene but at a young age moved to Victoria where I grew up. I got my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University where I was able to further my interest in pharmacy and how the body works at the physiological level. Currently, in pharmacy school, I am involved in Phi Delta Chi where I am serving as the Worthy Alumni Liaison. My early passion for pharmacy came from my deep interest in chemistry and finding ways to apply that interest to helping members of the community around me. Once I obtain my PharmD, I plan on pursuing a residency to become a clinical pharmacist either in pediatrics or emergency/critical medicine. Currently, I am an intern at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene where I work in the inpatient and OR pharmacy. Outside of school, I am interested in all sports where I am a soccer official as well as an avid disc golfer and marathon runner. WTPA has allowed me to develop meaningful relationships and connections to benefit my career and future endeavors.
