Paul Priebe

Hometown: Amarillo, TX; Born and raised in Michigan

Education: B.S. in Engineering from University of Michigan in Dearborn, MI (2001); current MBA student at Texas Tech University, Rawls College of Business in Lubbock, TX (Class of 2019); current Pharm.D. student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Amarillo, TX (Class of 2020)

Family: Happily married to Julie since 2004.  We have three daughters: Joanna (4 years old) and twin Jessa and Jenna (age 2).   The Priebe family lives on 16 acres outside of Amarillo in a 100+ year old farmhouse (with a few updates, like indoor plumbing).  The girls love helping with the dogs, barn cats, chickens, and ducks.

Hobbies: Paul enjoys golf, bowling, hunting, fishing, and home DIY projects with his family.  He enjoys volunteering, when possible, and one of his favorite local events is the annual Amarillo Heart Ball in April.

Professional: Paul has a background in Business Management having worked at major airports, a state prison, and a K-12 school district.  Paul fell in love with pharmacy after going back to school for health prerequisites in 2012 and volunteering at the VA hospital pharmacy in Amarillo.  He has worked as a Podiatry Assistant, Nurse Technician, and has been working as a CPhT at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo since 2016.

WTPA: Paul first heard about WTPA early in his P1 year at TTUHSC when it was mentioned that they offer scholarships. He attended the meeting that spring and truly enjoyed the focus of WTPA, the people, and the enthusiasm.  The excitement and passion of WTPA led him to promote the organization to his classmates and he is excited to be able to enhance that promotion and serve the organization as a board member.
